Southern Adirondack Audubon Society (SAAS) is a local organization whose primary goal is to protect the environment by preserving natural habitats
 and promoting environmental education.  SAAS membership is drawn from  Warren, Washington, and Saratoga counties in New York State.

Conservation

bullet Our members have placed nextboxes for bluebirds in several locations. Volunteers are needed to monitor them and report on breeding activity.  Training will be provided!  This is your chance to help New York's state bird - the Eastern Bluebird.  Please contact us by email, or call Pat Fitzgerald at 518-792-6846.  The boxes were constructed for us by Pat Boire's tech class in Bolton Landing.  Read more about it here.
